Making Dreams Come True

In an effort to alleviate the pain and stress of acutely ill children and their families, Jordan invites a child and his or her family from the UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital to a Laker's home game, during which they enjoy dinner with Jordan's family; watch (and meet) the Lakers during warmup; and spend time with Jordan after the game. In addition, Jordan hosts an annual reunion each summer at the UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital for the children and families who have participated in the ‘Making Dreams Come True’ Program. This annual celebration reunites families and continues Jordan’s mission of bringing health, hope and healing to children afflicted by illness and disease.
