Taft High School

 Jordan has continued to support the Taft high school basketball program in Woodland Hills, CA. This year, he purchased home and away uniforms and other equipment for the girls' program. Jordan believes in nurturing the programs that were instrumental in his development in becoming a professional athlete, so on top of providing for his alma mater, he also provides scholarships to his basketball camp to the YMCA system.

Hoop Farm 2011 Scholarships

The Jordan Farmar Foundation donated over 12 scholarships to Hoop Farm basketball camp at UCLA this year! Children from various parts of L.A. were given the unique opportunity to attend Jordan's holistic-style basketball camp without any charge to their family. We aim to donate over 15 scholarships to Hoop Farm 2012.

Lymphoma fundraiser

The Jordan Farmar Foundation contributed to the first annual Lymphoma fundraiser at UCLA. Our President of the board served on the steering committee and helped organize events for the children who participated in the event.

Making Dreams Come True

 

JFF and Clippers join to host 150 people at tomorrow's Clippers game

Thanks to The Clippers, The Jordan Farmar Foundation in conjunction with the Clippers will be hosting 150 people at the Clipper's vs. Oklahoma game tomorrow night. For the past four years, The Jordan Farmar Foundation has been involved with Mattel Children's Hospital treating pediatric patients and their families in our "Making Dreams Come True Program". This program allowed a family to attend dinner with Jordan's family, shoot around, autographs with the Laker's and a meet and greet with Jordan after the game.

JORDAN 'MAKES DREAMS COME TRUE’ FOR PEDIATRIC PATIENTS

 NETS guard Jordan Farmar and his mother, Mindy Kolani, are bringing Farmar’s “Making Dreams Come True” program to New Jersey.

During the course of the NETS 2010-11 season, Farmar and Kolani will be giving children who are patients at Newark Beth Israel Hospital a special VIP experience at six NETS games at the Prudential Center. One child along with his or her family will be guests at each of the games. The program will start on Opening Night when the NETS host the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday, October 27.

Charity Auction

In an effort to raise money for the Jordan Farmar Foundation, Jordan is auctioning off game used shoes from the 2010 and 2009 NBA Finals, an autographed ball, and autographed jersey, as well as an autographed ticket from the 2010 finals. All of the money raised will go directly to the Jordan Farmar Foundation, so don't miss this one of a kind opportunity to win this great merchandise while supporting a great cause.

Jordan Joins Jersey

Jordan Farmar has agreed to a three-year, $12 million contract with the Nets late Sunday, ending Jordan’s run in Los Angeles. In Jordan’s four seasons with the Lakers, he helped them to 3 NBA Finals appearances, and 2 championships.

A Celebration Of Service

Jordan Farmar of the New Jersey Nets and Friends of Sheba Medical Center have partnered to host an event on August 15th from 5:00-8:30 PM that will help The Jordan Farmar Foundation to aid in the health, hope, and healing of children in need, and assist Sheba Medical Center establish a family activity center for children who are undergoing life-saving and prolonged cancer treatments.
 

3rd Annual Making Dreams Come True Reunion Party

 

Saturday, July 31, 2010 will mark the third annual Making Dreams Come True (MDCT) reunion party at UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital. This invitation-only event will honor all of the children and families who have participated in the MDCT program over the past three years and reunite them with each other and their hero, Jordan Farmar.
