Taste of Hope
Is our first culinary adventure of the new year. Your journey begins with cocktails and light bites followed by an edible experience inspired by the taste buds of a child and redefined for the grown up palate. Please join us on Thursday, February 7th, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at Gindling Hilltop Camp. A taste of Hope is an event hosted by The Jordan Farmar Foundation which aims to change lives by promoting physical and emotional well being, teamwork, tolerance, responsibility, an environmental awareness. We are committed to the health, hope, and healing of children in need. We envision a community where all children live healthy and environmentally responsible lives, while thriving in a diverse community. Registered attendees will be shuttled by limo to an exclusive location and served dinner by Executive Chef and Owner of Contemporary Catering, Nathaniel Neubauer. Following dinner, there will be a silent auction where you can win a vacation, a catered dinner at your home for 6 , as well as many other surprises. All proceeds go to provide scholarships to children from Union Rescue Mission (which offers support to homeless families), The Department of Child and Family Services, the YMCA, and the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. Almost all goods and services that have made this event possible have been generously donated by our amazing vendors and friends. Therefore, your contributions and support of this event go directly to provide scholarships to children who not would otherwise be able to attend a life changing camp like this.
